Andhra Pradesh public service commission was formed by the state government of Andhra Pradesh which comes into existence on 1st November 1956 with Headquarter in Hyderabad.

This commission provides direct recruitment for various vacant posts in the departments of the Andhra Pradesh Government. The details about the recruitment or for the post can be easily downloaded from the official website of APPSC.

APPSC offers jobs in different departments like Deputy Collectors, Commercial Tax officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Divisional Fire Officers, District Tribal Officer, District Employment Officer, Assistant Treasury Officer, Deputy Registrar, District Panchayat Raj Officers, Municipal Commissioner grade II, Mandal Parishad Development Officer, Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering, Assistant Audit Office etc.

The maximum age limit for all the Non-Gazetted posts is 28 years and for Gazetted posts is 26 years. The upper age limit will be relaxed in the following cases on production of relevant documents and 6 years age relaxation is also provided by the government from time to time.

This commission also provides Reservation seats for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward communities and Women. The Students Education Qualification will be depend on the nature of the post given. Sometimes the post requires some different Educational Qualification.
