NTPC stands for National Thermal Power Corporation Limited. NTPC was founded on 7th November 1975. It is the largest Indian state-owned energy provider company which is located in New Delhi. The total installed capacity of the company is 34894 MW (including JVs) with 15 coal based and 7 gas based stations, located across the country. Every year NTPC recruitment 2012 conduct examination for the Indians to fill the vacant positions in the organization. NTPS exam is conducted for - EET & ET-Fin types of trainees. For EET the candidate must be graduate with 65% of marks in engineering and technology whereas for ET-fin the candidate should be qualified in CA/ICWA. NTPC exam comprises of two papers one is of general aptitude test and another paper consists of technical related questions. If the aspirants clear or qualified the test then he/she will be called for an interview and GD. In technical test there should be 55 questions and in aptitude there will be 35 questions. Questions asked in NTPC are like synonyms, Antonyms, comprehension passage, fill ups etc. The candidates are advisable to go through the previous year model test papers so they can get the idea of paper pattern in NTPC question paper.
