ONGC Selection Process

At the time of Ongc recruitment all the eligible students have to appear for written test followed by Group discussion or Interview. Basically the selection process includes three stages that are Written Test, Physical Test, and Personal Interview. The Candidates will have to qualify at each stage separately and in aggregate.

Written Test In the written test, Candidates have to give examination on two papers. In one paper they have to answer the questions based on the subjects or specialization and in the other paper questions are made from General Awareness. The paper will be objective type, with multiple choice answers. Medium of examination will be bilingual i.e. English and Hindi.

Physical Test - Those who will qualify in the written test they have to sit for Psychometric test followed by the interview.

HOW TO APPLY

Eligible and interested candidates would be required to fill the application forms online. There is no other mode for applying for any post in ONGC. The candidates have to logon on the ONGC official website and read the given instruction to fill the application form.

The official website of ONGC is (http://www.ongcindia.com/). Candidates interested to apply are required to submit the application form. These forms are available at the official website of the relative organization.

Before registering/submitting their applications on the website the candidate is required to go through the general instruction given on the website to fill the form.

1) The EMAIL ID must be valid for atleast one year.

2) They have to log on www.ongcindia.com

3) Candidates from reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC) intending to apply for disciplines in which reserved posts are not available, may apply against general category provided they otherwise meet eligibility criteria.

4) Take the Printout of System Generated Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited Application Form and Customised Bank Challan bearing unique Registration No.

5) Fill the Journal No., Branch Code and Branch Name, Date of deposit in the Application Format.

6) For eligibility criteria the candidates re required to refer detailed advertisement.

7) Candidate should have latest passport size photograph with photograph of digital signatures for uploading with the application form.

8) SC/ST & PH candidates are required to submit a self-attested copy of Caste/Disability certificate along with Pay in Slip.

9) Mode of payment of application fees and processing fees will be provided in the General instruction of the application form. You can read it before applying online.
