TV news/program anchor is a third party between the channel and the spectators. Due to popularity of telecast media, the task of news reading and presenting a program becoming more challenging.
A program presenter is not only required to provide information, but also inform in an engaging manner. A good TV anchor has to be wholehearted, loving, active, dynamic and spirited. A news anchor needs to understand his responsibility and should to impart factually correct information, without exaggerating facts.
A TV anchor should be a reservoir of knowledge and information, should have awareness of the current political setting and should have thorough knowledge of issues. Program spirit determines the conduct of its anchor. For instance, if the program is purely an entertainment based show, then the anchor should treat in light-hearted conversation with the caller, should be able to crack jokes at the proper timing and should radiate a vibrant attitude. Whereas, if the program is on a delicate and serious issue, then its anchor should be calm and composed.
